At Poppy Finch, our custom experience is an opportunity to create jewelry that feels entirely your own. You may come to us with an idea for a piece that doesn't exist yet, or with a collection of gold and gemstones waiting to become something new.
Option 1: Starting From Scratch
You don't need to arrive with an heirloom or a fully formed idea to create a custom piece. You may have imagined a particular ring for years or know how you want the finished piece to feel.
Our in-house team works with you to shape that idea into a design, refining it together until every detail feels considered and distinctly yours. Your piece is then handcrafted in our Vancouver studio, created for you from the very beginning.
Option 2: Starting With Materials You Already Have
Sometimes, the most meaningful materials are already sitting in your jewelry box. They may have been passed down through your family, belonged to a piece you no longer wear, or simply no longer feel like your style.
Custom redesign gives those materials a new place in your life. Existing gold, diamonds and gemstones can be thoughtfully reimagined into something that feels more like you now, while still carrying a connection to where they came from.
The original piece may change entirely, or we may preserve the details that made it meaningful in the first place. What remains is its history, carried forward in a new form.
What Does the Custom Process Look Like?
Our process begins with a conversation, because every custom project is different.
We'll talk about what you're envisioning and how you'd like to wear the finished piece. From there, our in-house team can explore the design possibilities, materials and details that will bring the idea together. Watch a short behind-the-scenes video of our appointment.
If you're redesigning existing jewelry, we'll also look at the materials you're bringing in and determine what can be incorporated into the new piece.
